Going To The Cubs Game

Frank has to work today and tomorrow so I'm touring Chicago solo. I
picked a ticket to catch a Cubs day game.

Now I'm in a place called The Cubby Bear which is right across from
the stadium. It's nice to see a place where baseball is big.

Jade Visits American Girl Store

Actually, it's called the American Girl Boutique and Bistro. The dolls
cost from 42 to 90 dollars each. The outfits are about 30 to 50
dollars each. And you can even get a matching outfit for your little
one. The nice touch is you can go to the 15 dollar per person bistro
and they set a special place for your doll with food.

Now, I'm not condemning this. I'm just warning my fellow parents that
you might want to put a few hundred aside when you take the small one
shopping.

Life is too short to be disappointed by mediocre Spinach Artichoke Dip.

Sick as a dog, but not as your dog

Called into sick to work today.  I have a litmus test to see if I am well enough to go to work.  I put my laptop next to me and if the thought of spending time on it (like now) seems like a bad idea, I must be sick. 

So today, instead of getting things done, I will catch up on my Tivo and try not to make a mess of things.  Hope everyone else out there is doing okay.
